Pong was one of the earliest arcade games. It is a tennis game that incorporates two dimensional graphics. It consists of two lines (paddles), one square (the ball), and text for the score. The game was created in 1972 by programmer Allan Alcorn. After that, it became very popular. It was released on countless home consoles and even created a new genre of home consoles, Home Pong.
