Sonic Classic Collection is a port of Sonic 1-3 (including Sonic and Knuckles, and the locked on versions as well.) for the Nintendo DS.
Overview[]
As mentioned above, the games are the original games ported to the DS, although unlike other ports, this version strips the level selects and Multiplayer Modes from the games. The game also features some illustrations much like those from Sonic Jam and uses Sonic Jam's Sonic World music for the game selection screen.
Differences[]
- Sonic 2's multiplayer and Sonic 3's competition mode has been removed from the game.
- Some tracks sound different, such as some songs with pauses had their pauses removed (Casino Night Zone and Launch Base Zone) and others use different instruments.
