The second game of the series, and the first to use full 3D instead of icomic permeter.

OverviewEdit

The gameplay is similar to the first game, except that the camera is now in Full 3D, rather than the icomic permeter of the first game. and the game comes with 3 worlds in the base game, Plesentview, Strangetown and Veronavile. The game also introduces some new well-known features, such as the wants and fears system, where wants fill your asperation bar, while fears deplete it, each expansion pack adds new wants and fears to the game. Sims 2:Nightlife adds a turn-on system, in which, you can select what certain parts of a sim turns your Sim on.

  • Sims 2 is one of the games that is confirmed to have issues running a computer running Windows 8.
  • Sims 2 was one of the first games to include EA Download Manager (later called Origin), although standalone versions of the Sims 2 expansion packs, was also compatible with Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows 2000, which EA Download Manager wasn't compatible with.
