The third Sims game of the series, and the first to have open-world exploration.
The gameplay is much like older titles, although one major change is that Sims can explore the whole town seamlessly without loading times. (in Sims 1 and 2, Sims can leave the house, but have to choose a place to go, and then wait past a loading screen for that place to load.)
