"That's it? That was all that was in the game?! What a rip off!"

The third Sims game of the series, and the first to have open-world exploration.

OverviewEdit

The gameplay is much like older titles, although one major change is that Sims can explore the whole town seamlessly without loading times. (in Sims 1 and 2, Sims can leave the house, but have to choose a place to go, and then wait past a loading screen for that place to load.)

Added features Edit

  • Create a Style
  • Open World Exploration

Removed features Edit

  • The comfort need (replaced with certain moodlets, that serve a similar purpose)
  • The environment/Room need (replaced with certain moodlets, that serve a similar purpose)
  • Custom TV shows (in Sims 2, you could add your own videos to be shown on the TVs in-game)

Trivia Edit

  • This is the last Sims game to have expansion packs and stuff packs, as it's successor, The Sims 4, uses game packs instead.
